Objective: The aim of the present trial is to evaluate the value of
multiple IV injection of oxytocin in cryptospermic men scheduled for
TESE/ICSI Design: a prospective clinical trial Materials and methods:
Twenty eight infertile cryptospermic men were injected with 1.0 IU
oxytocin IV daily for four successive days. Last injection was 20
minutes before collecting semen sample by masturbation. Data were then
compared to their semen analysis one week before oxytocin injection
(every case was its own self control). Results: Motile spermatozoa were
found in semen in 8 participants (28.6%). Number of sperm identified
ranged between 1-5 motile sperm. Motility ranged from shaking movement
to progressive movement. In cases where sperm showed any indication of

O simpósio Dislexia em Tese visa apresentar resultados de experiências/reflexões científicas (mestrado e/ou
doutoramento) sobre dislexia/leitura com um duplo objetivo: promover o conhecimento dos educadores sobre a
dificuldade de aprendizagem específica na leitura (Dislexia) e auxiliar os alunos/cidadãos disléxicos no
entendimento das suas características.
Sumariamente, a dislexia, as perturbações que podem estar associadas - disortografia, disgrafia, discalculia, é uma
disfunção neurológica, em áreas específicas do cérebro, que requer um envolvimento diferenciado. Alguns casos
de dislexia parecem ter uma etiologia genética, mas inúmeros outros ocorrem de lesões cerebrais intrauterinas.

We study in this paper the degree of capital mobility in the Portuguese economy, as well as the associated
problem of external sustainability, from the point of view of the Feldstein-Horioka (F-H) thesis.
In the first part we review the literature about this thesis. The F-H relation supposes very strong conditions
about international investment and saving behaviour. It was considered as one of the greatest puzzles in economic
analysis. The process of immunization and the joint evolution with econometric theory and practice has
given to the F-H thesis a different meaning. As a consequence nowadays the measure of mobility and external
sustainability can’t be isolated.
In the second part we apply those ideas to the Portuguese economy from 1910 to 2004. We propose a short
