Faced with the necessity to automate the teachers and researchers evaluation process, a portal was created to manage scientific output at ICTE-IUL – Ciência-IUL, a current research information system. Although with different aims, Ciência-IUL and ISCTE-IUL Institutional Repository have areas that overlap. With regard to scientific publications the metadata is common and bibliographic information is from the field of library and documentation. We try to describe the collaboration started between services and systems with special focus to the development of new functionalities with the main goal to increase visibility of ISCTE-IUL’s scientific output through open access.
A implementação do quadro de referência ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library™) no contexto académico é já uma realidade em alguns países, nomeadamente no Reino Unido e nos EUA. Este artigo apresenta a sua aplicação à gestão dos sistemas de informação e tecnologias da informação de uma universidade portuguesa: o ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL). The elaboration of this research aims to study the perceived image of banking sector in the university segment, specifically investigating the ISCTE students view, and perceiving the connection degree they have with banks. The study is not directed to any bank in particular, but taking into account the interest of the subject, seeks to determine what was the bank that, in judging this segment, conveys a better image.
Services, and especially the financial, do not have a standard performance, they give the susceptibility to be perceived and delivered in different ways depending the customer, influencing the institution’s image.

Este artigo foi realizado no na sequência do encontro da Rede PHI - Património Histórico e cultural Ibero-americano, ocorrido na Universidade de Coimbra, entre 17 e 21 de novembro de 2014. Nessa altura foram apresentadas experiências pedagógicas de várias escolas portuguesas em torno das temáticas do património. Da parte do ISCTE-IUL foram apresentados trabalhos realizados pelos estudantes de Projeto Final de Arquitetura do ano letivo 2012-2013, tendo como área de intervenção a Colina das Amoreiras em Lisboa. O exercício e a pesquisa realizada com os estudantes, permitiram ampliar a noção de património, através do cruzamento com o território e com as ações sobre este sedimentadas ao longo do tempo.
O que nos propomos a apresentar neste poster é uma análise do conteúdo do Repositório Institucional do ISCTE- Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) como resultado da interoperabilidade entre este e o Ciência-IUL, portal de ciência do ISCTE-IUL (Current Research Information System).

This working paper is supported by a research conducted as part of a Masters dissertation in
sociology at the University Library, developed by the author. Starting from the theoretical
contributions available in the vast sociological production, the question of identity and
integration are problematized within a university context, strongly influenced by the
heterogeneity of its actors. The focus of the study fell on the identification of strategies for
integration of Angolan students enrolled in the 2nd and 3rd cycle of higher education in the
University Library, and understand its influence in reconfiguring their identities.
O conceito de qualidade no ensino, embora cada vez mais utilizado, é diferentemente percebido conforme o papel e a função onde se desenvolve e o seu debate é confuso, complexo, contingente e normativo. Confuso, porque a terminologia utilizada nem sempre é unívoca e clara. Complexo, porque as medidas propostas são, frequentemente, contraditórias. Contingente, porque depende dos objectivos definidos, da percepção dos actores envolvidos e do ambiente em que decorre a acção educativa. Normativo, porque depende do padrão de referência. Assim, a noção de qualidade de ensino tem diferentes interpretações.

Despite Technologies and Information Systems (IS) being a great ally of managers in
performing their duties, they don’t secure the desired results, once fragment business
processes around its functional applications, masking the visibility end-to-end.
Clarity in the perception of the requirements of business processes to be implemented in IS
becomes a determinant for the results from its implementation revert in competitive edge for
organizations.
This thesis is based on the use of modeling resources, embedded in the best practices
approach of Business Process Management (BPM), as a tool for communicate business

In providing the service, the loss of competency in customer response translate into negative impacts on the performance and sustainability of organizations. This research aims, with the adoption of the Lean approach, assessing the acquisition of monographs for the Library of ISCTE and propose a solution to increase levels of efficiency and effectiveness, in order to provide more value to customers.
The methodology consists of a case study approach. The collection of information was done using direct observation, consultation documents, attainment of a questionnaire to customers of the process and informal interviews to the Library technicals.
