Abstract Divorce is the cause for many families’ breaku , which has provoked social changes because of its widespread acceptance. However, this means of marriage dissolution hasn’t ceased to be synonym of rupture, causing changes in the day-to-day life of several elements of the family, namely the couple’s children, with harmful effects which can be hardly restored. It urges therefore the adaptation of strategies able to promote the “Good Divorce”, based on the decrease of the conflict between the partners, in the parental co-responsibility and in the balance of the family relationships. This final report has been composed in the end stage of the Masters Degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education and prepared within the curricular Unit of Supervised Teaching Practice (PES) over 3 semesters. On our initial approach, we were interested in analysing and characterizing our current teaching methodologies developed and inherent to both levels of education. During our planning and teaching practices, we took into consideration the heterogeneity of the children to what concerns their ages, their different learning rates and their school curriculum. The juvenile delinquency is an issue that deserves our particular attention, it is a social problem which takes us back to the perpetration of actions which are regarded as crime in the light of the penal code, by criminally inimputable individuals according to their age, the youth under 16, as far as the legislation in Portugal is concerned at present. A negligência familiar é a segunda forma mais frequente de maus-tratos a crianças até aos 5 anos. Assim, o objetivo deste estudo centra-se na realização de uma pesquisa inicial sobre as possíveis consequências desenvolvimentais que podem estar associadas à exposição à negligência, nomeadamente em termos linguísticos e de vinculação, em crianças de idade pré-escolar, que pudesse servir de base para a construção de um projeto de investigação mais abrangente. Os problemas de saúde mental representam uma elevada prevalência na infância e na adolescência, podendo ser percursores de psicopatologia na vida adulta. O reduzido nível de literacia em saúde mental, associado ao estigma e preconceito contribuem para o agudizar das perturbações mentais, na medida em que impedem o reconhecimento precoce das mesmas e influenciam o comportamento de procura de ajuda. Esta é uma realidade deveras preocupante, tornado imperativo a promoção de estratégias de saúde mental e prevenção das doenças mentais. Este estudo procurou, por um lado, caracterizar as bibliotecas das Universidades públicas portuguesas em termos de recolha de dados estatísticos, seu tratamento e posterior utilização na gestão e tomada de decisão nessas bibliotecas. Por outro lado, procurou auscultar a satisfação do staff e a satisfação dos utilizadores dessas mesmas bibliotecas. This ethnic group continues to suffer segregation in the access to habitation, work, market and even to education.
